I’m a consummate coconut zealot so this was an easy sell for me. It pours opaque brown with modest carbonation and just fluffy, tan collar.
The toasty coconut flavor dominates in the best way possible. It’s not candy sweet like some coconut flavored drinks but has a rather savory umami character like coconut water and real coconut. At 30 IBU it’s ridiculously smooth and drinkable with a medium body. The sweetness is there but mostly in a dark chocolate malt profile with some vanilla and woodsy flavors that almost seem barrel aged.
